What are Templates?

Templates are pre-build Teammates created by an organization admin. They cover most common usage of Teammates for your organization.

How to use Templates

There are two ways of building Teammate based on Templates.

Option 1: Starting from the Templates Page

• Go to Templates page.
• Carefully review the name and description of each template.
• Select the one that best suits your purpose.
• Click ‘Use Template’ button.

Option 2: Starting from the Teammates Page

• Go to Teammates page.
• Click Add New button.
• Observe modal with the list of Templates that appeared.
• Choose the Template that suits your purpose and click ‘Use Template’ button.

What’s next

Clicking ‘Use Template’ leads on a New Teammate Builder page with predefined configuration.

• On Teammate Builder review Teammate's settings such as selected AI model, Instructions, available Tools and make sure they suit your purpose.

Observe Knowledge Base section.

• If Document Collection is present load your own documents you want to analyze.
• Some tools may require additional inputs from a user e.g. Jira tool requires username and API token.

• Modify any part of Teammate settings the same way as for a new Teammate. This will not affect initial Template in any way.
• Template name and description is not inherited by a new Teammate. Give your own Name and Description and save a Teammate.
