Limit

What it does: Controls how many search results to return

  • Range: 5 to 100 results
  • Default: 5 results
  • Recommendation: Start with 5-10 for most tasks. Increase only if you need more comprehensive results.

Additional Search Terms (Optional)

Common uses:

  • Exclude websites: Add -site:spam.com to skip certain domains
  • Add context: Include extra keywords to narrow results

Examples:

  • site:nasa.gov - Only search NASA's website
  • -site:wikipedia.org - Exclude Wikipedia from results
  • 2024 2025 - Focus on recent years

Timeout (Advanced)

What it does: Sets how long the search should run before giving up

  • Range: 30 to 600 seconds (0.5 to 10 minutes)
  • Default: 120 seconds (2 minutes)
  • When to adjust: Increase if searches frequently time out; decrease if you want faster responses

What you'll get back

When Standard Web Search runs, you'll see:

  • Information extracted from relevant web pages
  • Content organized and summarized for your question
  • Source attribution showing where information came from

The Teammate uses this information to provide a complete answer to your question.
