Creating Custom Templates
Who can create Templates?
Only users with admin permissions can create Templates. Create Template option is disabled for all users without admin permissions.
How to create a new Template?
- Log in as a user with admin permissions within your organization.
- On Teammates page create a new Teammate or choose an existing Teammate that you want to make a base for a new Template.
- Go to Chat Dialog and check that the Teammate returns results that match Teammate purpose.
- Go back to Teammate Builder page.
- Review Instructions sections to make sure they are generic enough for the purpose of Template and do not contain sensitive information.
- Review Knowledge Base section and remove any documents that are not required for the purpose of Template.
- Review Tools section. Make sure to replace any sensitive information such as user credentials with placeholder text.
- When you are ready to save a Template click three dots icon on the top right of Teammate Builder Page.
- Choose ‘Save Template’.
- Give a meaningful name and description to your Template.
- Click Save.
- Saved Template will appear on Templates page. It can be used by all users within your organization.

How to edit or delete Template?
There is no direct way to modify existing Template. In order to modify existing Template you can click to Use Template, make required modifications and save as a Teammate first. Then go to Templates page and click on Trash icon to delete template. Before deleting Template it’s helpful to copy its Name and Description if your want a new Template to have the same name.
Go back to click Teammate page and create a template from it using the steps above.
